The Jewish Community Endowment Foundation of New Mexico (JCEF) was established in 1997 as a division of the Jewish Federation of New Mexico. As part of its mission, the JCEF seeks to promote planned charitable giving for the benefit of Jewish communities of New Mexico, the United States and overseas.
A Board of Trustees governs the JCEF, representing Jewish agencies and religious institutions in our community. It is the responsibility of the Trustees to determine policy and raise, manage and distribute funds to ensure continued growth. The JCEF has signed an agreement with the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona, with assets of $60 million, to act as the "trust department" for the JCEF. JCF of southern Arizona provides management of our investments and assistance with executing planned gifts for the benefit of the New Mexico community and Jewish communities around the world.
A gift to the JCEF will benefit the community in many ways. But the gifts may also create significant benefits for you, the donor.
To the left you can click on a brochure that will tell you about a few of the options for charitable giving. These guidelines are intended only as broad descriptions and do not constitute legal advice. The JCEF recommends that donors consult their personal legal and financial advisors to determine how this information may best apply to their individual needs and philanthropic interests. Companion brochures on each form of planned giving are available from JCEF. You may also contact us via email at JCEF@JewishNewMexico.org.
